* Failing grade. The adventure doesn’t meet minimum standards of playability.
** I could see running this, but it fails to inspire me or has significant playability issues.
*** I would consider running this.
**** I am considering running this.
***** I want to run this. Now.

For ACKS II
Levels 9-11 (3-6 player characters)
Time to grok the adventure: 20 minutes (plus more if converting from ACKS II)
Set-up:
A titan has donned a helm of disalignment and now offers his services as a mercenary with a flying fortress. An emissary may (randomly) approach a suitably wealthy party, or the party and the titan may find themselves each hired by rival kingdoms. This is high-level D&D, ladies and gentlemen.
Things I like:
An interesting and rich three-level citadel with some very tough guards and dastardly traps. It seems suitably tough for a high-level party.
The lower level of the citadel is used well to give the site added depth (pun intended). It has a very different feel than the two upper levels with different inhabitants and fewer guards, a possible second means of entry to the citadel, and a secret room with some good loot.
If the party manages to remove the titan’s helm, they get a very powerful friend.
Things to note:
As someone not familiar with ACKS, I found this hard to fully comprehend. I am very curious what the spell fillet and serve does. If this were for S&W or AD&D, I might have rated it higher by half a star.
I have minimal experience running high-level (9+) D&D.
Rating:
**** A high-level fortress assault, worth
the time to convert to your system of choice
